Welcome to the Outdoor Play Party. We are home from a few days spent visiting friends in Northern Ontario. If you are completely unfamiliar with Ontario - or Canada - then it might be hard to comprehend just how huge the province of Ontario is. We drove north from our home, for 8 hours to a small town named Bruce Mines. It would have taken us another 2 days to drive out of Ontario and into the next province, Manitoba. Ontario is a massive province...it is larger than France and Spain combined! We had a lovely time visiting with friends...but isn't it always lovely to return home? I was so inspired by the the last Outdoor Play Party and all the fabulous activities linked up. There were so many ideas that are perfect for having fun in your own backyard. Here are some of my favourite posts.
Frog, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails' fun swamp water bin.
Child's Play Music's fantastic PVC frame for outdoor music play.
How to make a parachute from Inspiration Laboratories.
Bubble play with Mud, Mud Marvellous Mud.
Teach Through Play gets messy with some sensory play at a mud table.
Create a backyard circus with Lalymom.
Add some marbles into your mud play with Making Boys Men.
Mummy Musings and Mayhem designed and built a kid-friendly veggie garden.
Wow! So many fun ways to play in your own backyard. There is still plenty of summer holidays left, where we live. These activities are going on our outdoor play to-do list. That sounds like a lot of driving. We will be doing the same in a couple of weeks visiting friends in France. Have joined in with Country Kids.
