I thought this week I would let you in on what some of my past kitchen confidential ladies have been up to. Some of these ladies were featured months ago...and my how things have changed.
Veronica - Veronica was my very first victim, I mean participant, so very long ago. Since then Veronica has revamped her own blog....which now reads more like a lifestyle, fashion and design magazine. Veronica Slater presents now has a home on Facebook! Veronica has also taken on the exciting role of regular lifestyle contributor to "Le Boreal Express" on CBC-Radio-Canada.
Kari - Kari is outside, I'm sure! Kari is still searching for a the perfect partner to help her television series come to life. Kari has been hosting webinars and educating us all through her amazingly redesigned website...you can now blog and network with people around the world! Kari even held an "April Showers" blog writing contest last month. These days Kari is excited about RBG's hosting Richard Louv, play outdoors guru and RBG's launching of a program to get kids outdoors..."Growing up Green."
Michelle - Michelle sent me a wonderful assortment of cards and even a desktop calendar! Her work is gorgeous - thanks Michelle. Michelle is busy getting ready to launch her mid-summer series of cards and other goodies on June 20th!
Laura - Laura snuck away from the spotlight for a little while and came out with a new creative outlet...beautiful multimedia pieces, found on her new etsy site. Love you multitasking moms.
Karin - Karin's about to get a lot busier when her three kids are out of school for the summer! Karin is getting ready for the Weekend to End Women's Cancer this fall...fundraising and fundraising some more!
Lori, Joanna & Anne - These ladies have been riding their little hearts out training for the BIG Ride to Conquer Cancer on June 11-12th! Go Wenches on Wheels!!
Wendy - Spicy as ever, Wendy is busy booking appointments for parties and is excited to offer a selection of fantasticJuneoffers.
Bali - Twilight Taggers - The Light in Winter Festival starts next week! Crochet flowers have been arriving in her mailbox from around the world and people have been "liking" her Facebook page at an astronomical pace! Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
Claudia - Claudia has been busy building her fashionable business. There is always something new and beautiful going on in the Stella and Dot world.
Mary Ann - Mary Ann has her Saturday mornings planned out in advance. Search the classifieds for yard sales, map them out and get up early and find the best deals in town!
Jen - Jen is getting ready for the summer as well. Planning a trip south along the west coast...how great does that sound. I'm sure she'll have lots of handy tips for travelling with 2 boys in a car!
Danielle - Danielle is actually in Toronto this weekend, on a little holiday! She's been busy blogging and blogging all over the place.
Andrea - Lice, lice, lice...the battle never ends - she's always on duty! Andrea is busy as ever, and ready to spend the summer visiting the ROM and the Science Centre with her 2 kids.
Doreen - uKloo creator, Doreen, taped an episode of Dragon's Den...she came out unscathed...tune in to find out what happened!! Praise continues to pour in for uKloo including an "Award of Excellence" from consumer guide The Noise on Toys, Dr. Toy has named uKloo one of the "Best Vacation Toys" for 2011 and Get Kids Reading recently proclaimed that uKloo "could be the perfect literacy game." How great is that?!?
Hope you have enjoyed this update. It is amazing how much has changed in so little time. This certainly is an amazing group of women. Thanks for sharing ladies. I really believe that through sharing our stories and experiences we help each other grow and evolve. So, thanks again.
