Welcome to the Outdoor Play Party! We are so glad that you have stopped by today. As the days grow ever colder here in Toronto we are readying our long underwear and donning our mittens when we go outside to play. Is it getting cold where you live? Perhaps you are on the other side of the world where the warmth of spring is taking over your landscape. No matter where you live one thing is universal...Christmas is almost here. Last weekend we bundled up and parked ourselves on the side of the road to watch the BIG Santa Claus Parade. What a fun way to spend the day outside.
We always arrive early (or all the good spots are taken) and that leaves plenty of time for running in the park space, colouring and eating snacks. By the time the parade is over, the sun is getting ready to set and the kids are exhausted. A fun-filled day spent in the sunshine...smiling and waving. Awesome.
The last edition of the Outdoor Play Party was packed with a great selection of posts about having fun in the autumn. So, before all the leaves are raked up and the ground is covered with snow, take a look at these fun leaf related activities.
Fun-A-Day brought rakes into the playground and watched the kids have a blast.
Create lovely leaf masks with Making Boys Men.
Try painting and decorating with leaves with The Good Long Road.

It's definitely getting cold over here in the UK - and windy enough to knock my toddler twins off their feet!!
