Today is the day. Every few years the opportunity comes along for citizens of Canada to head to the polling station and mark their "x". Such a simple action, with such grande results. I turned 18 many years ago...and I have marked my ballot whenever possible. No apathy here. So, today my thoughts are pretty straight forward. Grab your voter registration card, your proof of address and identity and head to your polling station.
If you are still undecided...there is still time...information is one click away. Here are the sites for the major political parties. By typing in your postal code, you will be led to all the information you need to know about your local candidate and the federal leaders position on all the issues.

Now, it is always a good idea to take a little snack with you...in case you need to wait in a long line...it is worth the wait! Here is my recipe for Cranberry Scones...from our Royal Wedding party. These tasty treats will give you the energy you need to pick up that pencil and mark the ballot.
