An easy tart and sweet strawberry and greek yogurt dip for fruit

Ingredients
1cupvanilla greek yogurt
4ounces½ a block cream cheese
1 ½tablespoonsstrawberry jam the best quality you can afford
Instructions
Set the block of cream cheese out, to come to room temperature before working with it. It usually takes an hour or two for cream cheese to soften. Once the cheese is soft, it's time to make the dip.
Use a whisk to blend together the yogurt and cream cheese in a small bowl. If you can't find vanilla greek yogurt you could use plain greek yogurt and add ½ teaspoon of vanilla. Be sure to use greek yogurt for this recipe. Greek yogurt is thicker than regular yogurt. It also is higher in protein - contributing to this dip packing a protein punch. Whisk until most of the lumps are gone. It should be fairly smooth.
Next up, add the strawberry jam. Add 1 tablespoon and then taste the dip and decide if you need the extra half tablespoon. Look for a jam that is packed with real fruit and isn't packed with extra sugar. Whisk in the jam until it is fully incorporated.
Taste test the dip. It should be sweet from the jam, but tart from the yogurt and the cheese. It's a lovely balance of flavours.
Transfer the jam to your serving bowl and cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Place the fruit dip in the fridge until you are ready to serve it. You want it to be nice a chilled for the fruit.
Notes
If you are partial to another type of fruit you can substitute another type of jam. It would be lovely with blueberry or raspberry jam.Nutrition Info is to be used as a rough guide.
